Elias Barouche, producer and label boss of Phenomena, has emerged from his country’s avant-garde electronic landscape as one of Canada’s rising musical mavericks. Elias Erium (previously known as Solid Stone), is an artist moniker for contemporary electronic music. Drawing from his roots of house, techno and progressive ; while taking inspiration from the new and emerging melodic dance music styles. Elias has forged a distinctive sound which focuses on inventive use of melody and groove, drawing the lines between global dance cultures without adhering to any fixed formula. Noted for his attention to detail and clever rhythmic coaxes making each one of his creations an incredibly absorbing experience.
The Montreal resident continues to search for the freshest sounds and new inspiring talent. It’s these unique choices tied with a keen dancefloor sensibility which have made his extended sets so memorable, and in turn share the stage with Kevin De Vries, Adam Ten, Testpilot, 8Kays and Cassian.
