2018 IGLOO-PROG | WEEKEND 3

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 1
BLACK TIGER SEX MACHINE
IN COLLABORATION WITH CISM

Weekend #3 will see Bass Music royalty at the Sapporo Stage for our second 16+ edition of the season, as Montreal institution Kannibalen Records delivers some of the heaviest drops and craziest rhythms you’ve ever heard! It all starts with Karluv Klub’s low-end frequencies before Dabin and Apashe keep the energy levels off the charts with their electro bass madness. Finally, Black Tiger Sex Machine will return to Igloofest to the joy of their adoring fans, shaking the Old Port from top to bottom!

Meanwhile, the Videotron Stage will host some of Hip Hop’s absolute finest. Local favourite Fafa Khan will start the fun, before The Posterz’ Nate Husser delivers a high impact DJ set. Next, you’ll be thrilled by the Dead Obies’ VNCE Carter and his subterranean beats, and Lou Phelps will set the stage for OVO Sound’s Boi-1da, whose deep bass has made him a favourite of Drake, Rihanna and many more. Finally, straight out of Atlanta, DJ Esco will demonstrate how to keep it trap and prove once and for all that he’s “the coolest DJ in the world.”

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 2
SASHA & JOHN DIGWEED

House & Techno lovers, your time is now! Friday February 2nd will see Tone Depth open up the proceedings at the Sapporo stage, delivering heady grooves and jackin’ beats to get you moving. Then, the legendary Sasha & John Digweed will go back to back for an incredible 3 hour set, marking their first appearance together in Montreal in 10 years! This is going to be a DJ master class you won’t want to miss, as you can be certain these grandmasters will be in rare form.

Meanwhile, the Videotron stage will see a trio of live sets, showcasing an altogether different way of performing electronic music. dB will start the show, before Cassandra Daiva steps up with her innovative textures and beats. Finally, Pulses will close out the night with a trippy, futuristic vibe. Get ready for next level music!

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 3
HUNGRY MUSIC

Ce n’est qu’un au revoir! To cap off Igloofest’s 2018 season, we’re pulling out all of the stops at the Sapporo stage, delivering a France-focused line up full of good energy and funky beats courtesy of Hungry Music. First however, the fun starts with Montreal’s own BSLC, who’ll open up the proceedings ahead of Joachim Pastor’s pitch shifted vocals and pop energy. Then, the one and only N’To will amaze us with his amazing synth work and enchanting rhythms before Worakls will take us home with his sophisticated mix of bumping house. You’ll want to party to the very last beat!

The Videotron stage will kick off the night with the underground sounds of juSt b, keeping things dark and groovy. Jaclyn Kendall will then keep the underground vibes going, before Mike Laz takes us home with his signature blend of high intensity techno.
