2018 IGLOO-PROG | WEEKEND 1

Thursday, January 18
KAYTRANADA

We’ll kick off our 2018 season at the Sapporo Stage with sounds from near and far. Local duo Voyage Funktastique will bring their sumptuous update to the 80s boogie sound, before France’s prince of Vogue, Kiddy Smile, takes over with his uniquely soulful, vocal inflected house. The piece de resistance however? Our very own superstar Kaytranada, who will cap off this debut night in style with the sounds that have taken him across the world.

At the Videotron stage, we’ve got an all night back-to-back extravaganza, when Montreal’s Green & LaTeez B2B Paskal Daze take us through a high energy, underground workout, all night long.

Friday, January 19
PETIT BISCUIT
in collaboration with Vice Québec

It's Friday night: get ready to dance! Igloofest is coming with some truly next level grooves to get you moving, starting with Montreal’s Honeydrip, who eclectic selection will bring you around the world and back. Want more? The one and only Medasin will deliver the lush sounds you know and love. Finally, French electronic music phenom, the electrifying Petit Biscuit, will close things with his warm, tropical energy, and futuristic sound design.

At the Videotron stage, we’ve got an all Montreal lineup when Willow Bell, Frankie Teardrop and local highlight Ouri start serving up house, techno and a whole lot more!

Saturday, January 20
BONOBO

We’re capping off our first weekend at the Sapporo Stage with an opening set by Montreal luminary Jaymie Silk. He’ll get things warmed up ahead of California’s Tokimonsta, whose experimental hip hop grooves, heard on Flying Lotus’ Brainfeeder label, will boggle your mind and get your feet moving. Then, weekend #1’s grand finale, as the Grammy nominated Bonobo returns to Igloofest, for yet another amazing DJ set after he amazed us all in 2016. We absolutely cannot wait and guarantee a magical evening!

At the Videotron stage, The Shah will kick things off with his patented blend of funky house beats, before London’s Deadboy takes us into the future with next level bass music in a UK style. Finally, Montreal’s queen of Bass, Vilify, will return to our fair city to bless us with the latest in urban sounds. Get ready for energy!
