Ma" Carassou-Maillan better known as Ma", is a Montreal visual and video artist. Active for ten years, she has held numerous residencies and events for the promotion of electronic music and digital arts. "A die-hard, do-it-yourself", she draws her inspiration through nature, mathematics, music and generative art. She plays with the projected light and geometric shapes, matter, transparency and superposition to achieve flat and elaborately volumetric out-of-this-world compositions. Her video sets follow the rhythm of the music like an ephemeral video painting.
