About

Vancouver born and Montréal based, Syd Woz is a DJ, producer and co-founder of GLOSS. Over a decade behind the decks has shaped an approach that is fluid, patient and difficult to pin to a single sound. Rooted loosely in the language of early ’90s house and techno, her sets move freely across eras and into stranger corners, following feeling, progression and unexpected connections between records. Alongside longtime collaborator ZDBT, Syd recently made her production debut on UK label Short Span Records, extending the same curiosity and sense of movement found in her DJ sets into recorded work.
