Montreal, February 1, 2024 - Winter is in full swing, and so is IGLOOFEST! Starting this Thursday, February 1, the quintessential winter EMD party begins its third week with another high-flying lineup in February. You won’t want to miss the phenomenon 100 Gecs, Swedish star Eric Prydz, as well as the unbeatable duo The Blaze and icon Miss Monique who are gearing up to deliver remarkable performances to the world's wildest crowd. It’ll still be possible to go all night long with the Après-Ski parties held at Velvet, Auberge Saint-Gabriel, Francesco’s, Soubois, and New City Gas. Families are also invited to make the most of the upcoming free daytime events under the Igloofête banner on Saturday afternoons. There’s one rule: don't miss a beat!

Two Last Weekends of Festivities
Always on the lookout for the latest trends, Igloofest welcomes both big names and artists who leave their mark on dance floors, offering intimate and mass experiences alike. In this vein, the explosive American duo 100 Gecs will inaugurate the third weekend on Thursday, February 1st, with a DJ set that promises to be a wild one. Swedish headliner Eric Prydz will reign the following day, and we can already picture ourselves under the gentle snow, in full communion, dancing to iconic tracks such as "Call On Me," "NOPUS," or "Pjanoo," from one of the most prolific and influential producers of our time! The label This Never Happened will gracefully close the week on Saturday, February 3rd, with its creator Lane 8, joined by Sultan + Shepard and EMBRZ.
Last but not least, powerful French duo The Blaze (DJ set) will return on Thursday, February 8, for an emotionally charged evening. In addition, French trio Oden & Fatzo are on the program with a live performance, so you might as well mark your calendar and plan to arrive early! On Friday, February 9, American Kaskade will serve up his famous progressive and melodic house. Saturday, closing night, will feature the indestructible party queen, Miss Monique, whose contagious energy has resolutely seduced the Montréal public. She'll be accompanied by German duo Hidden Empire, ensuring to conclude this 16th edition with our hands (and mittens) raised in the air!

Dancing With Our Little Ones? A Not-to-Be-Missed Event!
Our sweet Yetis will meet families every Saturday during this 16th edition at Igloofête! From 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on January 20 and 26, and February 3 and 10, a festive, original, and activity-rich program will be offered on the festival's site, at the Jacques-Cartier Pier, and it's free! The Sapporo Slide, pocket games, a giant Connect 4, a Tik Tak Dunk, hockey games, a Yeti colouring workshops for children, a relaxation zone, and a photo studio — the whole family will have plenty of opportunities to have fun and create memorable moments in the heart of our beautiful Montreal winter. Thirsty or hungry? There will be various food trucks and bars offering hot chocolate, coffee, and cocktails to delight festival goers. Vidéotron will once again be giving out marshmallows, ready to be carefully roasted around the many fireplaces scattered around the site. Finally, musically speaking, some heroes from our beautiful local scene will get all generations grooving thanks to a lineup curated by the Club Sagacité Collective on Saturday, January 20, Bonne Famille on Saturday, January 27, Laylit on Saturday, February 3, and Lazy Days on Saturday, February 10. You can expect good vibes and beats suitable for little ears!
Après-Ski Parties, To Keep You Going All Night Long!
What happens after Igloofest? The party continues! As announced, Montreal's favourite festive storm continues its wild ride until February 10th, and following its regular programming at Jacques-Cartier Pier, it will expand into Old Montreal with the Après-Ski evenings! On Thursday, February 1st, New Yorkers Surf Gang will keep the fun going, transitioning from Igloofest's Sapporo stage to Francesco’s for a DJ set that promises to be memorable. Japanese artist Qrion will take the stage there the next day, while the new House star AIRRICA will perform at Soubois and Barcelona producer and DJ Daniel Orpi will be at Velvet! On Saturday, February 3rd, Tallandskiinny and HEY: ALBERT will joyfully set a decidedly festive rhythm at Velvet, and they won't be alone! An entire evening curated by Laylit will also take place at Francesco’s, and New City Gas will welcome the melodious techno duo Mathame.
Finally, during Igloofest's closing weekend, audiences will enjoy the elegant beats of duo Sleep D (in DJ set) at Francesco’s, progressive house master Roy Rosenfield at Soubois, and the Frikiton collective at Velvet. The grand finale on Saturday, February 10th, will be presented by the Afrotonik collective at Velvet and led by the new queen of California nights, HANA, at Francesco’s.
