Igloofest is set to snowball Quebec City at last!

March 2–4, 2023, at Place Jean-Béliveau

Quebec City, Monday, November 21, 2022 – This is the year! Electronic music fans, the wait is over! It’s a go for the inaugural IGLOOFEST Québec festival this coming March 2, 3 and 4 at Place Jean-Béliveau, right at the heart of ExpoCité. Gestev and Multicolore are revving up for the hottest party of the winter that’s sure to get the crowd of Igloosapiens pumped with smoking hot beats from headliners Diplo, Claptone and Misstress Barbara!

Igloosapiens can now get their mitts on a weekend Igloopass valid for all shows for just $95.00 (plus taxes), available in strictly limited quantities at igloofest.ca. Nightly tickets (starting at $34.00 plus taxes) go on sale today, November 21, at noon.

“We came super close to making the inaugural Igloofest Québec happen last year, and we’re back with an even bigger event this year. People in Quebec City can’t get enough of electronic music, so the stoke’s going to be high at Place Jean-Béliveau,” said Québecor Sports and Entertainment’s Chief Operating Officer, Martin Tremblay.

A blast of euphoric electronic music

There’s no need to be afraid of the cold with the white-hot lineup the abominable snow gang has in store for the thousands of electronic music fans expected to fill Place Jean-Béliveau this March. Festivalgoers can look forward to a blizzard of house and techno-influenced beats.

“We’ve got an ultra-solid lineup for 2023 with a whole spectrum of sounds to get everyone pumped. It’s been a long wait for this hotly anticipated event and we’re thrilled to see the world’s chillest festival taking shape at last here in fabulous Quebec City. Here’s a top tip if you want to be an Igloosapiens: don’t forget your warm mitts, because this music’s sure to give you the right kind of shivers!” said Multicolore Co-founder and CEO, Pascal Lefebvre.

Igloosapiens everywhere will want to come out of hibernation on Thursday, March 2 when iconic Montreal DJ Misstress Barbara takes over the decks to send a shiver through the crowd after a warm-up set from Alexa Borzyk. Then on Friday, March 3, it’s over to dance floor driving force Paul Woolford and transcontinental epic party night instigator X-Coast to break the ice for headliner Diplo, one of the world’s most influential DJs and house music producers who just racked up an eighth Grammy nomination. The hottest party of the year wraps up on Saturday, March 4 with the anything-but DJ BORING and Montreal fixture Andrea de Tour opening for the ultimate crowd-pleaser Claptone. Talk about a stellar lineup for three chill nights of partying!
