WEEKEND 3 REVIEW

Perfect temperature. Perfect programming. It wasn’t too hard to be a hit this third weekend! We’ve even compiled a few of the better moments for you.

Here they are:

1. Black Tiger Sex Machine
Let's say that the weekend’s intensity started here. The 3 members of the group gave us their all, and the crowd just could not get enough of it. Illuminated tiger heads included! WE LOVED IT.

2. Mr. Oizo
We just have one thing to say: "You're animals! ". That pretty much sums up the performance by the DJ who destroyed us all in one fell swoop Thursday.

3. Slava Bilan
A little shout out to our winner of the Sapporo Igloobeat contest, who threw down a brilliant performance. BRAVO. We can report that she was very excited after her show. It was something to be proud of. We’ll take such moments every time <3

4. A little accident
There was a girl who spilled her drink on one of the yetis. What can you expect, these things happen. It made a nice pink spot on his coat. But do not worry, we’ve cleaned him up and released him back into the wild. # byebyestains

5. Saturday Night
A gorgeous closing night for this third weekend of festivities. It was so crowded and the atmosphere was at its max.

Funny little fact: Gina Turner is so small that it we had to make her a special stand so that you could see her play. #mixoncrates

And we completely flipped for the closing set of Seb Léger. His motto: "We will raise hell!" was fairly representative of the evening. Mission accomplished, my Seb!

1. Minister Mélanie Joly was with us last Friday at Igloofest. We were so excited we couldn’t help asking her: BUT WHERE IS JUSTIN? It was then (in the wings) that we had it confirmed that the she was a regular at the event and that Justin Trudeau was unfortunately in La Loche. Till next time hopefully!

2. Lululemon girls were in the house. They were asked if they had created an Igloofest pose for the occasion. #yoga
