BEST OF OFF-IGLOO WEEKEND #2

There was a ton of action in the Old Port for the second and final Off-Igloo weekend. It was nice to catch you all one last time before the end of the festivities! We even made a best of. Check it out:

1. Thomas Jack

The weekend couldn’t have had a better start than Tomas Jack’s #tropicalhouse for a night in collaboration with IleSoniq. The temperature was burning hot on the dance floor at the Videotron Stage. All that was missing was a mojito and a few palm trees and boom: it was practically the Caribbean!

2. PERFECT weather

It was so warm out on Saturday that we thought it was April. That meant a big bunch of you came over to celebrate, to participate in the numerous free activities and to cheer on the contestants at the Nordik Games.

3. Our 10 teams

For the second day of the first ever Nordik Games, we had the opportunity to present 10 awesome teams. Each more determined than the next. What a sight to see them go.

4. Splash the brats

The Handle the kids! Activity turned into “Splash the brats”! That’s what happens when the weather is warm.

5. The Wild Stallions!

Let’s not forget the day’s grand prize winners: THE WILD STALLIONS! In addition to winning a cool 1000$, they are now the world record holders for the Nordik Games. This 5 stallion team ran through the course in 4 minutes and 23 seconds! UNBELIEVABLE.

*Special shout to their stallion trot – they kept it up all day!

6. The last Slap Shot projection

To celebrate Slap Shot’s 40th anniversary, we projected the film one last time at the Videotron Stage. And we met more than a few people who’d attended these screenings twice. You don’t get tired of that movie! #classic

7. The Iglooswag fashion show presented by Videotron

At Igloofest, we also organize fashion shows. Saturday, we asked the finalists of the Iglooswag contest presented by Videotron to give it their all on the #catwalk and to present the look that they proudly rocked at Igloofest. It’s the crowd that crowned our grand champions by making the most noise for the winners. A historical moment!

10. The grand finale with Ponsolo and Ledisko

You want a great party? Invite Ponsolo and Ledisko. That’s what we did and it obviously worked, big time. They were on fire like none other. We won’t forget it. Video proof HERE.
